BEIRUT, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese State Security arrested Tuesday three Syrian nationals belonging to the Islamic State (IS) group in Beirut and Bsous, the National News Agency reported.

After further investigations, the suspects admitted to belong to the IS and to have worked in favor of the extremist group in Syria.

The detainees were handed over to the Directorate of Military Intelligence to expand investigations into the case as advised by Military Prosecution Court.
