CHICAGO, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities traded mixed on Monday morning, with soybean futures falling over 12 cents, as investors turned to technical selling amid ongoing China-U.S. trade frictions.

December corn was down 0.25 cent at 3.84 U.S. dollars per bushel as of 1530 GMT, September wheat was 13.25 cents higher at 5.93 dollars, November soybean was down 12.76 cents at 8.895 dollars.

As for weather forecast for agricultural crop, thunderstorms are expected to arrive for parts of the U.S. state of Minnesota on Monday and Tuesday, though they're not expected to be severe, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

There's also a chance for storms in parts of eastern Missouri that may turn severe starting late Monday morning, the NWS said.
