ISLAMABAD, July 9 (Xinhua) -- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), one of the top three political parties in Pakistan, has unveiled its manifesto here on Monday for the country's upcoming general elections to be held on July 25.

Chief of the party, Imran Khan, a cricketer-turned-politician, addressed his audience here presenting the party's policy manifesto titled "Road to Naya Pakistan," which means "road to new Pakistan" in English.

Terming the manifesto as no easy-solution of problems the country faces, Khan said that "an easy solution to the problems that Pakistan is faced with does not exist. No one should assume that we will be able to easily implement this manifesto."

As part of the manifesto, he stated that the party is planning to create 10 million jobs in the country, one of the major issues Pakistan is currently facing, and will also introduce low-cost housing schemes for the poor people.

"The first challenge is unemployment and how to create jobs. Our challenge is to create 10 million jobs and 5 million homes in our five-year term," the party leader said.

Two other major political parties, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and the Pakistan People's Party, have already presented their manifestos for the forthcoming general election.
