PIRAEUS, Greece, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Actors and migrants of different cultures presented a theater play from inside shop windows of Piraeus port Thursday, aiming to draw attention to the continuing refugee, migrant issue.

Organized by the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, in collaboration with the Open School of Immigrants in Piraeus and the Piraeus Commercial Association, the artistic event "Too-Human" saw ten different shop windows become the places of action and turn into theater scenes that hosted people of different civilizations.

The participants dealt with subjects such as motherhood, tradition, fear, friendship, love, life, trust and fanaticism, and reminded the audience of those moments in which the word "too" doesn't describe quantity, but universality, according to the organizers.

"With this action we aim to show that the habits for both Greeks and people of different nationalities are common, but also that we are a united society in which we must respect each other and move along," Nikos Manesiotis, Chairman of the Piraeus Commercial Association, told Greek national news agency AMNA.

Greece has been at the forefront of the Europe's refugee, migrant crisis since 2015. Over one million people landed on Greek shores mainly from Turkey and about 60,000 remain stranded across the country after the closure of the route to central Europe in 2016.
