BEIJING, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Representatives of China's judicial and law enforcement organs have committed themselves to being loyal guardians of the Constitution.

The message came from a plenary meeting of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, chaired by the commission's head Guo Shengkun in Beijing on Friday. Chief Justice Zhou Qiang and Procurator-General Cao Jianming were present.

The meeting was called to study the spirit of the second plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee which proposed amending the Constitution and upholding its authority.

The judicial and law enforcement organs will follow the Party's central leadership and take the lead in studying and implementing the Constitution and safeguarding its authority, according to an outcome statement from the meeting.

The law will be strictly enforced, justice delivered, and people led to have more faith in the Constitution and voluntarily embrace it, the statement said.
