LONDON, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Northern Ireland's Mark Allen and England's Kyren Wilson will fight for the title in the final of the Masters snooker tournamentto be held here on Sunday.

Allen, 31, defeated twice winner John Higgins 6-3 while the 26-year-old Wilson, competing in his second Masters, fought back from 5-2 down to beat Judd Trump 6-5. Both players are in the finals for the first time.

Allen produced breaks of 63 and 90 to go 3-1 ahead, before the 42-year-old Higgins made 131 to take the fifth. Allen, who shocked seven-time winner Ronnie O'Sullivan in the quarterfinals, moved 5-2 up and, though Higgins made another ton, the world number eight clinched victory in the ninth.

Victory on Sunday would give the world 14th-ranked Wilson his first title since that Shanghai Masters win 28 months ago. He will be playing his third final of the season having lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan at the English Open and Ding Junhui at the Yushan World Open.

"Even if it was 5-2, I was just going to fight until the end," said Wilson. "From 5-2 I started to take my chances with good breaks. I felt nervous but good going into the decider. Lady luck was on my side."

Trump, who has lost all his three Masters semifinals, said, "It's disappointing. I think I was the better player, it's tough to take.

"When it's not your day it's not your day. When you know the run is like that then it might be Kyren's week."
